Musicopolis Institute

Mission Statement

The Musicopolis Institute is a separately incorporated non-profit entity dedicated to carrying out Musicopolis’s social entrepreneurship initiatives. By offering a wide range of events and services, the Musicopolis Institute provides socially vulnerable groups greater access to their artistic human rights while simultaneously creating quality employment opportunities for professional artists.

Activities

In pursuit of its mission, the Musicopolis Institute engages the following activities:

  1. Developing and delivering music and arts educational programs to vulnerable social groups.
  2. Supporting the arts sector of the local economy by creating opportunities for artists to have quality, project-based employment.
  3. Organizing musical performances, educational events, and professional training workshops to finance its social initiatives.
  4. Providing business consulting and managerial services to micro and small arts-based enterprises.
  5. Supporting, conducting, and disseminating research on arts-based social entrepreneurship, cultural policy, and the arts economy.
